Jerry Almendarez attended Colton schools in his early years and eventually graduated from Colton High School. He then went to become a teacher and the principal of his Alma Mater. Now, proud Superintendent of the Colton Joint Unified School District, he recalls a story of a Colton High School student by the name of "Michael." This story promises to inspire and motivate those who at one point may have lost their way. Michael's story of redemption and relentless determination is a true example for all that no matter how many times we may fail, there is always a chance for success. Jerry Almendarez was born in Colton California. He attended Colton schools during his early years and eventually graduating from Colton High School. He then went on to become a teacher and principal at his Alma Mater.
